Country music artists Brad Paisley, Sara Evans and Andy Griggs’ will perform Jan. 21 at the Augusta Civic Center. Tickets, $30.50 and $39.50, go on sale at 8 a.m. Saturday.

Paisley, who has received five Country Music Association Awards, has sold more than 5 million records in his career. He’ll bring his 2005 “Mud & Suds” headline tour to the Civic Center, joined by Evans, a CMA Award winner and double-platinum seller, and Griggs.

The concert series name combines Paisley’s current single and album title, “Mud on the Tires,” and Evans’ recent No. 1 hit, “Suds in the Bucket.”

With three back-to-back platinum-certified albums, three No. 1 singles, eight Top 5 hits and multiple award nominations, Paisley has established himself as one of country’s finest young artists, the concert organizers said. Paisley also is the Grand Ole Opry’s youngest cast member.

His hit songs include “Celebrity,” “Little Moments,” “I’m Gonna Miss Her” (The Fishin’ Song) and “He Didn’t Have to Be,” all of which he’s written or co-written.

The Chicago Tribune has written, “Exhibiting the heavyweight ease of an Alan Jackson or a George Strait, Paisley proves he’s on the verge of superstardom.”

Evans has four albums, three No. 1 singles, six Top 10 hits and nearly four million albums sold. She won her first CMA award for the video to “Born to Fly,” which also marked her debut as album co-producer, a practice that continues on her latest collection, “Restless.”

Griggs was so determined to make music his life, he quit college in his last year to move to Nashville, where the baritone has earned five Top 10 hits, including his No. 1 debut single, “You Won’t Ever Be Lonely.” The Louisiana native’s current album, “This I Gotta See,” has yielded the No. 5 hit “She Thinks She Needs Me.”

Tickets are available at The Augusta Civic Center box office, 626-2400; at Ticketmaster outlets; or online at www.ticketmaster.com.
