AUBURN – Gordon Talbot of New Gloucester will present a Christmas violin concert at 6:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 19.

It will be sponsored by Emmanuel Reformed Presbyterian Church of Auburn, which holds services in the Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 310 Minot Ave.

The concert will feature mostly traditional Christmas carols, both with and without compact disc accompaniment.

Talbot is a graduate of Houghton and Nyack colleges, who earned his master’s degree at Wheaton College and Ph. D. at New York University.

He has had experience as a pastor, director of Christian education, college teacher and administrator, and writer.

Semi-retired, he serves as seasonal chaplain at the Frye Island Chapel and as pulpit-supply speaker at the Advent Christian Church in Mechanic Falls.

No tickets will be required, but a freewill offering will be taken.

Parking will be available at the rear and side of the church.
