Dear Sun Spots: Every year, the Family Support Department of Community Concepts collects toys for the children of our needy families. This year, we have collected over 500 gifts. We like to make these gifts as special as we can by wrapping them in colorful holiday paper.

We are hoping that there are some generous people out there who would like to donate Christmas paper to help us bring happy smiles to the many children in our community. Anyone interested in helping may call (207) 795-4065, ext. 2117. Or, you may drop your paper donations off at 79 Main St., Auburn. Thank you so much, Sun Spots, for giving nonprofit organization like ours a place to voice our needs. – Anita Poulin, Auburn.

Dear Sun Spots: I’m a graduate of Edward Little High School Class of 1994 and, sorry to say, there isn’t going to be a class reunion until the next five years.

I would like to know if there is any information on who is in charge of our reunion and why aren’t they doing their job? I hope this gets out and gets the ball rolling. – No Name, Minot.

Dear Sun Spots: To the person seeking square-cut nails (Dec. 3 column): I have some. I can be reached at (207) 353-2247. – Paul Chizmar, No Town.

Dear Sun Spots: I found some square-cut nails at www.oldhouseweb.com. The nails can be purchased from Tremont Nail Co. at (800) 842-0560 or through their Web site at www.tremontnail.com. Ain’t technology wonderful? – David Jenckes, Farmington.

Dear Sun Spots: This is in answer to No Name, Lisbon in the Dec. 3 column:

Your reader should contact Tremont Nail, Wareham, MA 02571. They carry all kinds of old nails. They have a factory and a store, and probably have a Web site. I’m not sure of this, but they are an old, well-established factory. – No Name, Oxford.

Dear Sun Spots: On Oct. 5, I ordered a sterling silver birthstone bracelet from the Well Connected company and enclosed my check for $30.75. In reconciling my bank statement, I find that my check was canceled, and I was sure I would receive my bracelet soon – but to date, no bracelet. They did not list a telephone number but did provide an address, Well Connected, P.O. Box 310069, El Paso, Texas, 88531. Could you please find a telephone number for the company? – No Name, No Town.

Answer: The toll-free phone number for Well Connected is (888) 827-7539. Their hours are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. You also can e-mail them at [email protected]. Sun Spots called their customer service department and was told that your order had been on back order, but was shipped to you on Nov. 30. You should receive your order any day.
