WOBURN, Mass. – Verizon Wireless has named Steve Klaiber district manager for retail sales. He will be responsible for established Verizon Wireless Communications Stores and recently added stores in Circuit City Superstores in southeastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island.

Klaiber began his career with Verizon Wireless nearly six years ago as a sales representative in Maine, where he was promoted to store manager. He managed a number of Verizon Wireless stores, most recently the Maine Mall store in South Portland. Prior to joining the wireless side of telecommunications, Klaiber managed residential landline sales.

Klaiber is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts-Amherst and a two-time recipient of Verizon Wireless’ Winner’s Circle, which recognizes superior sales and customer service excellence.

He is a resident of Lewiston.
