In an editorial Tuesday, the Sun Journal reported that the Boston Red Sox would visit Lewiston on Friday.

The information was based on early reports of the visit. The Red Sox will be at The Colisee from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Saturday. Representatives from the team will also visit Bethel from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. that day, stopping at Telstar Regional High School. A stop is also planned for 7:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday at The Phoenix at Sunday River in Newry.
