LEWISTON – Rodney Herbert Jordan, 49, of Litchfield, died Monday afternoon, Dec. 13, at St. Mary’s Hospital, with his wife and family by his side.

He was born in Lewiston, Oct. 19, 1955, the son of Arthur M. Jordan and Virginia L. Dwelly. He was raised in Auburn, educated in the local schools, and a graduate of Edward Little High School.

For 19 years, Rodney shared his life with his beloved Doris. They were married May 17, 1998 and shared a home in Litchfield, Maine. Rodney enjoyed the outdoors, his dogs, camping, computers, working around the house, and spending time with his grandchildren.

He was an employee of Bachman Industries for the past 26 years.

The family would like to thank Dr. Christensen, for giving us a chance, Dr. Lund, for helping us understand everything, Tena, Beverly, and the rest of the ICU, for the care and support during Rodney’s, and the family’s, time of need.

He is survived by wife Doris; her children, Tammy S., and husband Michael L. Webber of Greene, Tanya M. Jipson, and her friend Brad of San Diego, Calif., and Tony R. Jipson, and his friend Laura of Lewiston; grandchildren Abigail, Benjamin, Alexis and Destiny; sisters Diane Langley of Westport Island, and Beverly E., and husband Mitch Nord of Round Rock, Texas; brothers Ronald E., Robert D., and wife Cynthia of Poland, Richard A., and Roland G., and wife Doreen of Auburn.
