PORTLAND – Constance Rita Michaud, 67, of Auburn, died Wednesday, Dec. 15, at Sea Side Rehabilitation Center after a long battle with multiple sclerosis. She was sent to the Lord with her daughter, Lisa, and her son-in-law, Greg, by her side.

She was born in Lewiston on April 29, 1937, the daughter of Louis and Corana Lebel Boissoneault.

She was educated in local catholic schools and she was a longtime parishioner of the former St. Mary’s Church.

In her younger days, she worked in several area mills. She enjoyed an occasional day out shopping with her daughter, Lisa, and also enjoyed Saturday night dates watching the Lawrence Welk Show and having a bite to eat with her granddaughter, Carrie Lee.

She is survived by two daughters, Louise Ann Michaud, Lisa Marie Michaud-Jackson, and special son-in-law Gregory Jackson, who helped care for her for seven years; a sister, Jolene R. Lanneville of Trumbull, Conn.; two grandchildren, Carrie Lee Gary Michaud, and Adam Joseph Michaud, who meant the world to her and will always be remembered by her spunk.

May she rest in peace.

She was also survived by a special nephew and godson, Richard Breton, of New Hampshire; several cousins, nieces and nephews; and her former husband Joseph and his wife Beverly Michaud of Litchfield.

She was predeceased by two sisters this year, Claudette L. Pike and Lorraine Breton, both formerly of Florida.
