PORTLAND (AP) – Tomas Fleischmann scored two goals in regulation for the Portland Pirates, but the Hartford Wolf Pack hit the twine three times in the post-overtime shootout to earn their third straight win Sunday.

The teams were tied 1-1 at the first intermission. After Fleischmann netted his first goal on the power play 7:44 into the game, Ken Gernander tied it with 17 seconds remaining in the period.

After a scoreless second frame, Fleischmann sent the Pirates (11-13-3-3) ahead 2-1 with a two-man advantage 4:23 into the third.

But the Wolf Pack (20-7-1-2) tied it on Dominic Moores seventh goal of the season at 12:55.

After overtime failed to produce a winner, the Wolf Pack won the shootout 3-0, with Lawrence Nycholat and Jozef Balej and Jamie Lundmark beating Pirates goaltender Maxime Ouellet. Hartfords Jason LaBarbera made 37 saves to earn the win.
