Music Together of Lewiston-Auburn, a parent-child music and movement program, is expanding class offerings in an effort to accommodate working parents’ schedules.

Classes will be offered at 4:15 p.m. Wednesdays at the United Methodist Church in Auburn and at 10 a.m. Saturdays at the Franco-American Center at St. Mary’s in Lewiston.

Classes also will be offered at the Turner Village Church on Thursday mornings and at the VFW Hall in Greene on Friday mornings.

Music Together will begin the winter semester the first week of January 2005.

The goal of Music Together is to develop opportunities for basic music competence by encouraging music experience rather than learning information about music.

Families are encouraged to attend classes together, so younger children and older children in the same family can learn music and movement activities to enjoy at home. Classes are geared to children ranging in age from birth to age 4.
