RUMFORD – A Mass of Christian Burial for Ida M. Jolin of Rumford was celebrated at 11 a.m., Monday, Dec. 20, at St. Athanasius-St. John Church in Rumford with Fr. Angelo LeVasseur as celebrant. Organist was Mr. Nicholas Puiia. Readings were given by Maegin Jolin and Erika Bickford. The poem “They Say That I Am Dead” was read by daughter Anita Murphy. Interment in the spring will be at St. John Cemetery in Rumford. Pallbearers were Steve Gallant, Maynard Murphy, Brian Bickford, Keith Bickford, Leo “Yogie” Jolin III, and Douglas Conant. Color Guard by LeParesseux Snowshoe Club were Carol Parise, Bob Parise, Judy Sanborn, Lila Gillis, and Sandra Welch. A reception followed the services at LeParesseux Snowshoe Club in Rumford. Arrangements were under the care of the Meader and Son Funeral Home.
