POLAND – Morgan Taylor and Kayliegh Barrett scored 11 points apiece Wednesday to pace York to a 72-41 romp over Poland.

The Wildcats held a 17-point lead at the half and was never seriously challenged. Abby Perkins led the Knights (0-6) with a 13-point performance.

Buckfield 49, NYA 33

NORTH YARMOUTH – Shayna Shackford poured in 14 points Wednesday night to lead Buckfield to a 49-33 victory over North Yarmouth Academy in girl’s basketball action.

Buckfield trailed by two at the half, then came alive in the fourth quarter with 24 points.

Aylssa Henderson of the Bucks (2-3) chipped in with 13 points. Erin Lachance led NYA (0-5) with 11 points, while Kelly Jensen added eight.
