FARMINGTON – The Franklin County Children’s Task Force recently received a grant from the Agnes M. Lindsay Trust in the amount of $2,500.

The grant will be applied to the cost of a new telephone system with voicemail capabilities. The task force’s current phone system is more than 20 years old. It was donated to the agency by a local company many years ago and has well outlived its lifetime.

The Agnes M. Lindsay Trust offers assistance in the form of grants for capital campaigns, capital items, renovation needs and equipment in the areas of health, recreation and education. The task force also received a grant from trust in 2003 that was used for computer hardware.
