LEWISTON – Beatrice L. Gagnon, 96, passed away in her home on Tuesday, Dec. 21, with family and friends by her side.

She was born in Auburn, Jan. 8, 1908.

She graduated from Edward Little High School in 1927, and always had aspired to be a physical education teacher.

She worked at LeBlanc’s Cleaners for many years.

She was a vivacicus and loving person, and enjoyed entertaining, especially around holidays. She loved music, the ocean, playing piano, cooking, but the most important aspect of her life was her family.

She is survived by her children, Dorothy Austin, Elaine Morrison, Faye Walker, Ronald Gagnon, Bonita Edwards; 16 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren.

She is predeceased by her husband, Bertrand Gagnon; a daughter, Lorraine Cox; and two grandsons.

She was a wonderful woman and will be greatly missed by all.
