LEWISTON – Liane StDenis, 95, of Maison Marcotte, 100 Campus Ave., died Thursday, Dec. 23, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center.
She was born in Lewiston, Aug. 2, 1909, the daughter of Adelard and Maria Dupont Pelletier.
She was educated in local schools and was married Nov. 24, 1938 to Victor A. StDenis.
Prior to her retirement, she was employed as a seamstress at Star Millinery for many years.
She enjoyed traveling with her husband and especially loved family get-togethers.
She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Victor of Lewiston; two daughters, Irene Wight and husband, Burton, of Lisbon Falls, and Jeannine Shaw and husband, Francis, of Lewiston; five grandchildren, Kathleen Wight, Scott Wight and wife, Stacy, Diane Deloux and husband Gene, Gerald Lepage and David Lepage and wife, Karen; nine great-grandchildren, Kevin and Jeffrey Cusson, Matthew, Danielle and Aaron Deloux, Joshua Lepage and Kayleigh, Nicholas and Cameron Lepage.
She was predeceased by two sisters, Laurianne Ayotte and Marcelle Helie; and a brother, Gerard Pelletier.
