PARIS – Jobs with Sunday River and Credit Counseling Services will be among those offered at a job fair in Paris on Wednesday.

Hosted by the Career Center, the fair will be held from 9 a.m. to noon at the Western Maine University building, 232 Main St.

“We’ve got some (businesses) that are doing some pretty big hiring,” said Diane Peet of the Career Center. She said Credit Counseling Services alone has 10 openings.

As of Monday, nine prospective employers were signed up for the fair. Peet said she’s trying to interest as many as 20 businesses in participating.

Other employers featured at the fair will include: Community Concepts, Maine Staffing Group, AFLAC, Reliv, National Able, Support Solutions and Oxford Hills Adult Education.

Peet said this will be the last job fair until spring. Typically about 50 job-seekers attend the fairs, which are held quarterly.
