RAYMOND – Joseph A. Troiano, 65, died Saturday, Dec. 25.

He was born in Portland, Oct. 12, 1938, a son of Anthony D. and Mary Palermo Troiano. He attended Portland schools and graduated from Cheverus High School.

He married Judith Nickerson.

He worked for the Postal Service in Portland and then in Gray, where he served as postmaster until his retirement. Upon retiring, he and his wife moved to Florida. Retirement was an enjoyable time for him.

Survivors include his wife, Judith; children, Lesa A. Troiano of Gray, William A. Troiano and his wife, Carolyn, of Chesterfield, Va., Robert A. Troiano of Lewiston, Timothy M. Feehan and his wife, Robin, of Gray, Mary M. Cerino and her husband, Matthew, of Raymond, Anthony M. Troiano of Lewiston, Gina M. Troiano of Lewiston, and Joseph G. Troiano and his wife, Gail, of Gray; a sister, Michaelene Derrig and her husband, Thomas, of Portland; and a brother, Guy A. Troiano and his wife, Traci, of Greenville, N.C.; 14 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by a brother, Gerald Troiano.
