CANTON – Anna F. Woodrow, 95, formerly of Monroe Street, Mexico, died Sunday, Dec. 26, at Victorian Villa in Canton where she had been a resident since 1992.
She was born on Nov. 22, 1909 in Hartford, a daughter of Edward and Aurilla (Lecours) Falardeau.
She was educated in Mexico schools and was a graduate of Mexico High School class of 1927.
She was a communicant of St. Theresa’s Catholic Church and a former member of the Ladies of St. Anne.
She was employed at Delle Style Shop in Rumford for many years.
Upon retirement, she moved to Colebrook, N.H. and was the owner of a local restaurant for several years.
She later moved to Tucson, Ariz., and resided there for 25 years, moving back to Maine in 1986, and was a resident of Somerset Residential Apartments for several years.
Survivors include; Rosalie McDonald Owen of Clarksville, Va., Elaine Packard of Canton, Anita Kersey Colby; and several cousins.
She was predeceased by her husband, Carroll Woodrow, in July of 1986.
