MONTPELIER, Vt. (AP) – The Montpelier police department is asking for help in identifying an unconscious pedestrian who was hit by a car. The victim was hit at about 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday at the intersection of Main and Franklin streets.
The man who was hit was not carrying any identification. He is unconscious at Fletcher Allen Health Care in Burlington. The victim is identified as a white male, about 6 feet tall. He weighs between 160 and 180 pounds He is estimated to be in his mid-40s.
He has neck length light-brown gray hair and a light brown beard. The victim was wearing a tan baseball cap with a light green brim and a gray wool watch style cap. He had thin silver frame sunglasses and a white vest.
He wore a gray checkered heavy winter shirt, light green-blue shirt and light blue Levis.
