SOUTH PARIS – Bethel police delivered a police report Monday to the Oxford County district attorney’s office regarding a domestic assault complaint against a Wilton selectman.
The report will be reviewed by an assistant district attorney to see if a charge of domestic assault will be served on Rodney Hall of Wilton.
Hall, 37, was arrested Nov. 27 by former Bethel police officer Shane Thomas in connection with allegations of an assault on a Bethel woman.
Thomas left the force soon after the arrest and didn’t leave Bethel Police Chief Alan Carr a police report to file with the district attorney’s office.
Carr said he has received the report and filed it with the district attorney’s office.
No complaint had been filed with the court as of Hall’s scheduled Jan. 4 court date, so the case was not heard.
