RUMFORD – Kindergarten parents of children at Virginia Elementary School are invited to a meeting about developing children who are readers, a spokesman for the school said. The meeting will be from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 13, in the Rumford Elementary School cafeteria. This is the second of three meetings scheduled for the year. If people missed the first one, they are still welcome to attend this meeting.
