LEWISTON – George G. Bulley, 57, of 30 Howard St., passed away on Saturday, Jan. 8, at Central Maine Medical Center due to complications caused by an infection to his cancer, with his loving wife, family, and friends by his side.

He was born in Gardiner, on Sept. 8, 1947, the son of Ida E. Peters and Howard G. Bulley.

He was raised in Randolph, and graduated from Gardiner Area High School, Class of 1967.

Following his graduation, he enrolled in the United States Coast Guard for six years and served in the Vietnam War. He was honorably discharged in 1973.

He married Ann M. Albert of Lewiston, on Nov. 15, 2003. Throughout his life he always had a deep love for riding his Harley-Davidson, and being at the ocean. He enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting, and hiking. Being outdoors really made him comfortable. He also loved to travel, and saw many parts of the world. Playing his electric guitar was also a favorite past time of his. He participated in the very first Outward Bound Program, and he was a member of the United Bikers of Maine, and engaged in many biker activities, such as the Toys for Tots Run and Lobster Run.

He was employed by Kaiser Roth of Gardiner, and also by Knapp and Falcon Shoe of Lewiston, for many years.

George loved spending time with his family and friends, and he will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his loving wife Ann; step-son Nicholas Albert and his wife, Stacy, of Roanoke, Va; grandchildren, Amber and Justis of Roanoke, Va; step-daughter, Amanda Wentworth of Lewiston; brother, Garfield Bulley and his wife, Pat, of Chelsea; two sisters, Helen Pushard of Pittston, and Joan Bolduc of Sabattus; brother-in-law, Clifford H. Pottle of Fairfield; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, great-great-nieces and nephews, and cousins.

He was predeceased by his father in 1963; his mother in 1984; sister, Beverly in 1987; brother-in-law, “Blackie” Bolduc in 1994; niece, “Dottie” Bulley in 2000; and father-in-law, George W. Langlais in 2004.
