LEWISTON – Gertrude B. Crowley died Jan. 13 at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center in Lewiston surrounded by her family.
Born at Eagle Lake, May 23, 1929, the daughter of Thomas Lebelle and Rozana (Moreau) Lebelle, she married Gerald M. Crowley on July 7, 1962. He died in October of 1999.
She had a great love of playing cards and making puzzles. She enjoyed playing card games with her children and grandchildren.
She spent her married life as a homemaker, raising her seven children.
She will be sadly missed by her three sons, Gerald J. Crowley Sr. of Wales, Anthony J. Crowley Sr. of Monmouth, and Thomas Crowley of Litchfield; four daughters, Linda Fennell of Sabattus, Virginia Sturgis of Greene, Roseanna Bryce of Litchfield, and Cindy Poullard of Poland; one sister, Rita Bouchard of Lewiston; 16 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
