As a teen, I would like people in the state of Maine to bring an end to leaving animals on the streets and making them fight. My opinion is that people who abuse, neglect or fight animals are involved with drugs or things like that. I think these people are taking their anger out on animals.

Too many animals in Auburn are abused.

I would like to have more animal shelters in our state. As Mahatma Gandhi would say, “the greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated.” Animals feel pain like we would if we were hurt or left alone by someone we loved and cherished.
