SACO – Beverly Mae Hoyt, 73, of Jenkins Road, Saco, died at Evergreen Manor Friday, Jan. 14.

She was born in Topsham, on April 6, 1931, the daughter of Richard and Nancy (Baker) Harrington and was educated in the Brunswick school systems.

On Feb. 28, 1952, she married Richard Harrington and together started their family.

She was employed at Herman Shoe Co., Stride Rite Shoe Co. and later at L.L. Bean in Freeport until her retirement.

She was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Biddeford.

Her interests included shopping, taking bus trips with the Seniors Group to Branson Mo., Atlantic City and Foxwoods.

She treasured the the time she spent with her family and she will be dearly missed.

She is survived by her daughters, Donna Wentworth and her husband, Wesley, of Oxford, and Debra Darnell of Fallon, Nev., Mr. and Mrs. Roy Doria of Greenville, S.C.; stepson, Joseph Perry Hoyt of Oakland, Texas; step-daughter, Tony Leach of Daytona Beach, Fla.; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; her sisters, Mildred Small of Auburn, and Mary Freve of Lisbon Falls; her brothers, David Harrington of Norway, Robert Harrington of Turner, and Alton and Raymond Harrington both of Lewiston. She also leaves her cat “Princess.”

She was predeceased by her parents; her grandson, Clinton Darnell; and her brother, Richard Harrington Jr.
