On Jan. 5, two letters were published, one by Patricia Adams and one by Suzanne Greenwood, which reflect their left-wing, liberal Bush-bashing philosophy.

Both letters were void of logic and reason and are examples that typify the treatise of the Democratic Party. The writers’ anti-war repetitious dialogue is not original and is the reason why there are so few blue states. I would suggest to Ms. Greenwood that she watch the Fox News Network because her understanding of the war in Iraq is 180 degrees out of phase. Ms. Adams blames President Bush for the enlistment and re-enlistment bonuses for the military. These benefits have been in effect for over 50 years.

The Democratic Party leadership has swung too far to the left, and the crossover votes have put the Republicans in control of Washington. Bush bashing is not the answer. Americans know what the left-wingers are against, but it’s what they are for that is scary. Pro-abortion, same-sex marriage, anti-modernization of national defense and higher taxation. The left has the Democratic Party in bondage. They need to come back to the middle of the road.
