LEWISTON – Alexina E. St. Pierre, 80, of the Lamp Alzheimer’s Residential Care in Lisbon, died Monday, Jan. 17, at d’Youville Pavilion, following a long illness.

She was born in Lewiston, on Aug. 27, 1924, the daughter of Ignace and Julie (St. Pierre) St. Pierre, and had been a resident of this community all of her life.

She was employed in the local shoe industry and the Pepperell Mill, until her retirement. She loved to play the harmonica, and she was a lifelong parishioner, Eucharistic minister, and alter server at Saints Peter and Paul Church.

She is survived by one brother, Edmond St. Pierre of Plainville, Conn.; one sister-in-law, Cecile St. Pierre of Venice, Calif.; and several nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by one stepsister, Marie Michaud; three sisters, Marie Anna Ouellette, Julia Morin, and Aurore Michaud; and three brothers, Desire, Leo, and Lionel St. Pierre.
