What seems the most important, during and after an election, is to honor the opinions of those who disagree with us.

Because when we go to vote, we are each voting for the same thing. We are voting for who we believe will be the best candidates with the best policies in order to give ourselves and our children and our community and our country the best future.

We all want to do the right thing. We all want to act on the basis of an understanding of what is the truth. In our differences of perception, we may strongly disagree on what is “right” and what is “true.” But let us honor in each other the caring, passionate soul.
