BIDDEFORD – Linwood Harlow Bryant, 89, died peacefully on Jan. 21, surrounded by his loving family, at the home of his daughter, Bonnie in Biddeford, where he had resided with his wife.

Born in Canton, Sept. 11, 1915, he was the son of Ernest and Myrtle (Harlow) Bryant. On May 16, 1936, he married Geraldine W. Warren in Livermore Falls.

He retired from International Paper in 1977, after 44 years of service. He was a member of the Quarter Century Club of I.P., and a longtime member of the Jay-Livermore Falls Hunting Club.

He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, who enjoyed being with his family and playing music on the organ at home, and challenging his wife to a game of cribbage every morning. He loved gardening, baseball, golfing, bowling, hunting with his son and grandsons, and going to Foxwoods, and Las Vegas.

He is survived by his wife of 68 years; his daughters, Marlene Pare and her husband, Laurence, of Livermore, and Bonnie Harmon and her husband, Alfred, of Biddeford; his daughter-in-law, Louise (Pare) Bryant of Livermore Falls; 11 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, eight great-great-grandchildren; and brothers, Richard and Norman.

He was predeceased by his parents; his son, Larry; brothers, Erlon and Ronald; and sister, Ethelyn Brackett.
