BRIDGTON – Shawnee peak is hosting its 10th Moonlight Charity Challenge on Friday, January 28. The event will benefit Camp Sunshine in Casco, and the Shawnee Peak Adaptive Skiing Program.

Anyone can organize a race team of 4, of any and all abilities, beginner, intermediate and advanced – ski, telemark or snowboard. With an initial team entry fee of $300, each member will receive a lift ticket, dinner, welcome bag, event T-shirt and entry into several raffles. For every $100 raised above the initial entry fee, one second is shaved off the combined team time.

Maine Challenge

The Maine Mountain Ski Challenge at Saddleback Mountain will he held Saturdays, beginning Jan. 29. The races on Jan. 15 and 22 were postponed due to weather conditions. Makeup dates will be announced.
