AUBURN – Arnold N. Briggs, 90, of 353 Turner St., died Thursday, Feb. 3, at his home.

Born in Minot, Nov. 16, 1914, he was a son of Albert and Hazel Bailey Briggs. He graduated from Edward Little High School in 1935.

He served in the United Sates Army during World War II.

He married the former Josephine Quirrion on Oct. 5, 1946. She died Aug. 2, 1998.

Mr. Briggs was a member of the Court Street Baptist Church, and was a carpenter/contractor in the Lewiston/Auburn area.

He is survived by a son, Peter N. Briggs of Connecticut; dear friends, Alan and Judy Roddy, and Ursula LePage, all of Auburn; a brother and his wife, Elroy and Paula Briggs, of Florida.
