PERU – Announcement is made of the engagement of April Pingree and Jeffrey Smith, both of Peru.
Miss Pingree is the daughter of Tammy Pingree of Peru. She is a 2001 graduate of Dirigo High School in Dixfield.
Mr. Smith is the son of Denny Smith of Peru. He is employed as a carpenter’s assistant.
A Feb. 3, 2006 wedding is planned.
