TURNER – Helen A. Gagne, 66, a resident of River Road, Greene, died Feb. 7, in Turner.
She was born March 25, 1938, in Lewiston, the daughter of Oakley and Gwendolyn (Lewis) Thomas. She attended the Lewiston schools, and married Wallace F. Gagne on Oct. 26, 1957, in Greene. He died Sept. 20, 2004.
She was a housewife, homemaker, mom, and grandmother. She was a member of the Androscoggin Grange in Greene, and also a member of the Greene Senior Citizens. She enjoyed traveling around to see the many covered bridges.
She is survived by two sons, Thomas Gagne and his wife, Julie, of Greene, and Scott Gagne and Jolene Hall of Lewiston; a daughter, Kathleen Johnson and her husband, Robert, of Turner; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two brothers, Wayne Thomas of Greene, and Russell Thomas of Las Vegas, Nev.; and two sisters, Jean Conant, and Marion Williams, both of Lewiston.
She was predeceased by a sister, Gloria Cash; and a brother, Oakley Thomas.
