SOUTH PARIS – Ella E. Hazelton, 89, of Norway, died peacefully on Feb. 7 at Market Square Health Care Center.
Born in Andover, Feb. 19, 1915, the daughter of Frank and Etta Learned, she was a 1933 graduate of Andover High School.
She was employed for many years in the local shoe industries.
The best years of her life were spent camping with her late husband, Jason Hazelton.
Survivors include her daughter, Janice and husband, Jeff Stevens, of Grafton, N.H.; a son, Stephen and wife, Trudie Hazelton, of Oxford; eight grandchildren, Lisha Evans of Newberry, N.H., Debbie Cattabriga of Grantham, N.H., Julie Limauro of Virginia Beach, Va., Petty Officer Second Class Shane Evans of Virginia Beach, Va., Shannon Bender of Enfield, N.H., Samantha Evans of Canaan, N.H., John Evans of Claremont, N.H., and Lynne Hazelton of Oxford; and five great-grandchildren.
