LEWISTON – Jeannette E. Corriveau, 75, of 9 Crowley Road, Lewiston, died Monday, Feb. 7, at d’Youville Pavilion following a long illness.

She was born in Lewiston, on July 10, 1929, the daughter of Cyrille and Clara (Royer) Tanguay and had been a resident of this community all of her life.

She was employed as a weaver in the local textile industry for 15 years and then was employed at Pioneer Plastics in the Screen Print Dept. for 20 years.

She was a fourth degree member of the Ladies Auxiliary Knights of Columbus and a parishioner of Holy Cross Church.

She took pleasure in bird watching and feeding her pets. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother. She loved her family very much.

She was the widow of Jean J. Corriveau, whom she married on July 4, 1980. He died on Sept. 28, 1995.

She is survived by three sons, Donald Perreault of Everett, Mass., David Perreault of Lewiston, and Daniel Perreault of Oxford; one daughter, Suzanne Blais of Sabattus; three stepdaughters, Deborah Corriveau of Topsham, Marie Churchill of Minot, and Tina Hart of Bowdoin; one brother, Normand Tanguay of Lewiston; four sisters, Rita Giroux of Moscow, Laure Perreault of Lewiston, Laurette Tanguay, and Lucienne Morin of Lewiston; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; her first husband, Normand Perreault; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by three brothers, Fernand, Lionel and Richard Tanguay.
