BETHEL – A reported structure fire at the Ernest Waterhouse home at 52 Flat Road during Thursday’s snowstorm wasn’t as serious as first believed.

Fire Chief Jim Young said two electrical heaters had been run too much, but the situation was resolved when responders shut off the circuit breaker.
