TURNER – Shelly Gagne and Danae Plaisted scored 16 points apiece to pace Waterville to a 62-51 victory over Leavitt in KVAC boys’ basketball action Wednesday. Elizabeth Bell chipped in with 14 points for the Panthers (7-8) in a three-pronged attack.

Ashley Naylor led the Hornets (2-12) with a double-double, netting 16 points and pulling down 17 rebounds. Stephanie Healy also contributed with 15 points for Leavitt. Waterville held a commanding 40-10 lead at the break.
