YORK – Alex Smith netted 15 points and Max Levine added 10 as Poland made a long trip worthwhile by edging York 45-43 in a Western Class B preliminary playoff contest.

The Knights trailed by four at the break, then went on a 14-9 run in the third quarter to pull back into contention.

Sam Mason led York with a game-high 17 points, while Joe Corsello added 10.
