The fourth annual Western Maine Fish and Game Ice Fishing Derby is scheduled for March 5-6. Registration fee is $10 per person, or $20 per family. Registration forms and more information are available at Woodman’s Sporting Goods in Norway, the Village Tie-Up and the Market Basket in Harrison, and Bolsters Mills General Store. Registration will also be taken at the head of Long Lake on the days of the derby. Refreshments will also be available.

Grand prize is $200 for the largest fish by weight, any species. A total of $450 in prizes will be awarded. Participants with children up to 5-years-old will be eligible to enter a free drawing after the derby for a lifetime fishing license, a $150 value.
