I’m very happy to see the 133rd Engineer Battalion returning from Iraq. I applaud their service, sacrifice and bravery. I mourn those who were lost. I pay tribute to those who will be awarded honors, and hope to avenge them if I hear another venal, chicken-hawk Republican disparage the Purple Heart, as they all did in the filthy election and convention of 2004.
