BRUNSWICK – Hulda M. Forsyth, 80, died Tuesday, March 1, with her daughter by her side.

She was born in Auburn, Oct. 20, 1924, a daughter of Russell Swift and Bertha C. Welner Swift. She retired from the Hyde School in Bath. She married Robert F.C. Forsyth, Aug. 19, 1944.

She enjoyed sitting by her window drinking tea, reading, bird watching and being withher two cats, Smokey and The Bandit.

She was predeceased by her husband, who died Feb. 11, 2001.

Survivors include a daughter, Cindy, with whom she lived; a son, Robert S. and his wife, Tammy, of Brunswick; a granddaughter; two great-grandsons; and many nieces and nephews, most of whom are still in Scotland.
