BOSTON – Brian Boyle scored two goals, including the game-winner with 5:34 left in regulation, to give Boston College a 4-3 win over Maine on Friday night.

Ryan Shannon had a goal and two assists for Boston College (21-6-6, 14-3-6 Hockey East). Michel Leveille had a goal and an assist for Maine (18-11-6, 13-6-4).

Shannon gave BC a 3-2 lead at 3:17 of the third period, but Travis Ramsey tied the game for the Black Bears at 7:34.

Boyle scored the game-winner at 14:26 of the third period. He added a power-play goal in the first period for the Eagles. The teams were tied 1-1 at the end of the first period and 2-2 after the second.

Jimmy Howard made 25 saves or Maine, while Matti Kaltiainen made 23 saves for BC.

Golden State Baptist 92, CMCC 83

CONCORD, N.H. – A buzzer-beating 35-footer by Justin West to end the first half fueled a shift in momentum as Golden State Baptist erased a five-point halftime deficit and rolled to a 92-83 victory over Central Maine CC in the semifinals of the USCAA tournament.

The CMCC Mustangs led 46-41 at the half before the Bears took command behind Justin West’s game-high 24 points.

Taylor Caron led CMCC with 21 points. Kaleb Violette added 19 points and Patrick Dempsey had 18.
