PORTLAND – Betty Humphries, 67, of Liza Harmon Drive, Westbrook, died Friday, March 4, 2005.

She was born in Lewiston, the daughter of Joseph and Lucy Paradis O’Leary. She graduated from Edward Little High School.

She worked at Data General and Regional Waste Systems for many years before retiring.

She served as president of the Tenant’s Association at Larrabee Village.

She loved spending time with her grandchild.

Her husband, Edward R. Humphries Jr., died in 1996.

She is survived by a son, David Humphries, of Allentown, Pa.; a daughter, Joy Childs, of Westbrook; three sisters, Nancy Davis of Auburn, Marlene O’Leary of Rock Hill, Conn., and Mary Ivanson of Enfield, Conn.; a brother, Joseph O’Leary of Lisbon; and one grandson, Christian.
