Lewiston

• Vehicles driven by Keith A. West, 25, of Auburn, and Bonnie L. Locke, 43, of Lewiston, collided at 8:45 a.m. Wednesday at Oak and Bates streets. Damage to West’s 2004 Mazda was estimated at $3,000; to Locke’s 1998 Pontiac, $4,000.

• Vehicles driven by Kathleen Chase, 45, of Auburn; Steven Timberlake, 52, of Auburn; and Ricky Gregory, 34, of Poland, collided at 9:52 a.m. Wednesday on Main Street. Damage to the 2004 Lexus, driven by Chase and owned by Select Auto of Sabattus was estimated at $800; to Timberlake’s 2004 Honda, $5,000; and to Gregory’s 2002 Dodge, $1,500.

• Richard J. Brochu, 29, of Auburn, lost control of the van he was driving and struck a utility pole at 11:35 a.m. Wednesday at Lisbon and Essex streets. Damage to the Webber Oil Co. van, a 2001 Chevrolet, was estimated at $5,000; to the pole, $1,000.

Auburn

• A vehicle owned by Cary Gosselin, 32, of Lewiston, was struck by an unknown second vehicle while legally parked at 8:15 p.m. Monday in front of J.C. Penney at the Auburn Mall. Damage to her 2005 Dodge was estimated at $15,000. Based on evidence found at the scene, police believe Gosselin’s vehicle was struck by a late-1990s Ford F-Series pickup truck painted tornado red with gold trim. Anyone with information about the hit-and-run accident is asked to call police at 784-7332 and specify reference number 0504538.
