LEWISTON – Charlotte Zimmerman, 82, of South Paris, died March 8, in Lewiston.

She was born in Waterbury, Conn., Sept. 30, 1922, the daughter of Otto and Charlotte (Vogel) Tickhardt and was educated in Connecticut schools. She graduated from Bridgeport High in 1938, attended the University of Bridgeport and was a resident of Bridgeport until 1950.

She had been employed by CBS-Columbia as a manager for many years. She retired to South Paris in 1988. While in South Paris, she was a volunteer at the South Paris Library and was a member of the Woodstock Seventh Day Adventist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Frank Zimmerman, of South Paris; two daughters, Lorelle Porrazzo and her husband, Donald, of Wallingford, Conn. and Renita Johnson and her husband, Mark, of Auburn; one sister, Naomi Reilly of Murphy, N.C.; and two grandchildren, Donald Porrazzo and Elise Porrazzo, both of Wallingford, Conn.
