MONMOUTH – The Monmouth Community Players will stage the Broadway hit musical “Jekyll & Hyde” starting today and continuing through March 24 at Cumston Hall.

The show features Mark Nadeau of Oakland in the lead role, Natasha Knight of Sidney and Luisa Scott of Poland.

“Jekyll & Hyde” is directed by Lucy Rioux of Gardiner, with musical direction by Art Fitzgerald of Readfield.

The show is produced by Kathleen Nation, set design by Cindy Turcotte, costume design by Ann Fairchild, Lyn Ballou and Amy Dionne.

Choreography is by Michael Gilbert, props by Jen Schultz, and lighting by Greg French.

Other members of the cast are Mike French of Hallowell, Ron Veno of Leeds, Michelle and David Handley of Monmouth, Shawn Roy of Augusta, Ron Lewis of Winslow and Andy Tolman of Readfield.

The chorus includes Kevin and Brendan Polk of Hallowell, Jocelyn Curtis of Richmond, Adam Blais of Auburn, Margaret Owen of Augusta, Emily Edmondson of Litchfield, Linda McCann of Winslow, and Breehanna Petty, Jessika Thompson, Britney Guzman, Meredith Mulcahy, Stephanie Morin, Zachary Gimpel, all of Monmouth.

Others are Karen Choquet of Auburn, Tori Jackson of Hallowell, Hannah Lennett, Darryl Hersom, Matthew Stone, all from Litchfield, Rylee Doiron of East Wilton, Alyra Donisvitch of Augusta, Wendy Amero of North Monmouth, Susan Tedrick, Chris Hewell, Colin Hewett, all from Readfield, Sarah and Abbie Webster of Waterville, Larry Hammes of Augusta, and Matt Burganza of Lewiston.

Shows will be at 8 p.m. March 18, 19, 25 and 26; at 2 p.m. March 20; and at 7:30 p.m. March 24.
