BETHEL – The Oxford Hills and Western Mountain SCORE Chapters have scheduled workshops in Business Planning for Business Start-ups that will be offered during April and May at the Telstar High School, 284 Walkers Mill Road, Bethel, under the auspices of the SAD 44 Adult Education program 824-2780.

Workshops will be held on successive Wednesday evenings from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in accordance with the following schedule: Preparing a Business Plan, Wednesday, April 6; Marketing, Wednesday, April 13; Cash Flow Projection, Wednesday, April 27; Financing a Small Business, Wednesday, May 4.

The workshops will be presented by members of SCORE and the Small Business Development Center/Androscoggin Valley Council of Governments. Workshop content has been structured to provide valuable information and assistance in writing a business plan, basic market research, projecting cash flow and obtaining financing for a new business. Writing a good business plan and understanding marketing and the details of cash flow and finances are vital to the success of any new business.

The fee for the four session workshop is $45 and includes participation by one business partner or spouse. Make the required advance registration and payment with the Oxford Hills SCORE Chapter at 743-0499, or Western Mountain SCORE Chapter at 369-9976.
