AUBURN – Yvonne Galarneau, 96, of 85 Caron Lane, Auburn, died Thursday evening, March 17, at the Odd Fellows Home where she had been a resident for past 23 years.
She was born in Lewiston, on March 29, 1908, the daughter of Jeffrey and Cesarine (Houle) Galarneau.
She was employed in the local textile industry for many years until her retirement.
She was a member of Saints Peter and Paul Parish.
Yvonne enjoyed knitting for the Salvation Army, crocheting and doing puzzles.
She is survived by nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by several brothers and sisters.
