I applaud the city of Lewiston for all the improvements and renovations that have taken place over the years to make the city appear more welcoming, clean and respectable. Those efforts desperately need to be extended to include the bus station.

It’s a shame to create so many improvements in the area when the first place to be seen by many people coming in from out of town is a dirty and neglected terminal. The outdoor sign is insignificant and easily overlooked by those who are unfamiliar with the area. The atmosphere inside is cold and stark.

This representation is reprehensible for a city with the size and wealth of Lewiston. The only positive attribute is another sign outside that reads “For Lease.”
