WILTON – The 34th annual St. Patrick’s Day pancake breakfast will be held from 8 to 11 a.m. Saturday, April 2, at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, High Street.

The Franklin County Democrats invite the public to have breakfast with Congressmen Mike Michaud. The breakfast will showcase Bailey Hill Farm, Luce’s Maine Maple Syrup and Meats, Wilton Blueberry Farm and the Carrabassett Coffee Co.

Information will be available on how people can support local farms and businesses.

Holy Week

PHILLIPS – Holy Week services are announced at the Phillips Shared Ministry and Kingfield UMC.

A Maundy Thursday tenebrae service will be observed at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, March 24, at the Shadagee meeting room, Dodge Road. The service will include a meal of bread, cheese and fruit, replicating the Last Supper. There will be a communion service after, and special music by the choir and a student, Jon Wilbur, who will play three selections on his saxophone. The service is accessible to those with disabilities.

On Easter Sunday, March 27, there will be a sunrise service at 6 a.m. at Mt Abram High School, Route 142, Salem, rain or shine. After the service, a breakfast at the United Methodist Economic Ministry will be served. Those planning to attend the breakfast should call Pastor Norm Boulay at 265-4613.

Also on Easter at 9 a.m., services will be held at the Congregational Church, corner of Main and Pleasant Streets. Shared Ministry services will continue at the Congregational Church at 9 a.m. each Sunday through September. Kingfield United Methodist Church Easter Sunday service is at 10:30 a.m. All are welcome.
