GREENWOOD – The 2005 annual town meeting will convene at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 26, to allow residents to conduct the town’s business.
Two selectmen’s positions are open, and three SAD 44 school board posts need to be filled.
The only known candidate running for a three-year term for selectman is incumbent Wayne Hakala. Others joining the race will not be known until nominations are accepted from the floor.
Current members of the SAD 44 board include Richard Melville, Walter Brough and Jacqueline Brown. School board candidates will also be nominated from the floor.
The meeting will be accompanied by the usual potluck dinner during the noon break.
